The government of Iraq isn't a US puppet. A US puppet would not have handled the execution as it did.
Nonsense. The Iraq government is a creation of the US, and wouldn't stand for a month without the support of the US military. The execution of Hussien was engineered by the US and carried out by willing Iraqis.
The video of the execution created the impression of a tribal revenge killing more than anything. But let's not forget who orchestrated it.

My main problem is not the execution of Saddam but the complete disreguard for the rule of law. Iraq's constitution says that all executions must be signed off on by the President and both VPs. The Kurdish VP refused to sign off on it because he said he had a moral problem with the death penalty and that Saddam should recieve life in prison. The Bush administration then agreed to hand over Saddam and the resulting execution was a complete disgrace to do process. It was like a mob with Shi'a guards chanting the name of Maqtada Sadr and jeering.
Even the judge was calling for order to be restored and he was ignored. The video clearly shows this and that video was also a disgrace since a guard took those pictures as a show trophy. This was a total break down of the legal system and the rule of law.
That's their worry, Oerdin. You're saying the USA should butt in more than you say we butt in now?
Huh? WTF? See, you're a man of intelligence, and yet you say that. It's little wonder this place is so screwed up.

Oh krapp...this is the first I've heard of this. ****, ****, ****!
What are you a frigging Marxist? Not every country that has a coup or revolution takes our hostages. They can take responsability for their actions. And they should have been punished. It was an act of war and Carter was a pacifist *****.
I don't know which is better, or .
I don't think either shows enough contempt....

Sorry, but NO.
If the US had crafted this government, then it would be made up of secular shiite and sunni technocrats, and people like Al-jaafari and Al-Maliki would never have been in power. If you want to see what a US created government would be like, look at the short lived transitional government. The fact that Sadr holds one of the most important political positions in the country shows your arguement (an Aro's) to be lacking in credibility.
The reason this government relies on US military power to stay in power is because the US has been reluctant to equip the Iraqis with heavy firepower, fearing that if they sufficiently arm the Shia's, they will simpl;y brutally clobber the Sunni and be done with it. The US is correct in that assesment. If the US left, there would be no governance in Iraq, given the utterly incompetent way in which the US destroyed all semblence of internal Iraqi government, which was already weak and dangerously secterian thanks to Saddams long reign.

The Al-Maliki government? NO, no one is forgetting.

Oh, I see… You are just being Sloww...
My contribution you can see on my sign. I’m not talking about that. Follow the link.
But…
You're being a troll on purpose, because you like it, or are you really naïf? Do you actually believe in all that crap you’re seeing in the news?
Believe me or not… But they were lying to you, Sloww. Fox and Al Jazeera. Both. They need you to believe them, or they disappear… Like Santa Klaus or the Easter bunny. The funny thing is… Isn’t working. Newspapers are loosing readers all over the world. The main reasons are the price and the fact that they are not truthful. You can do some research on who owns many media enterprises. It’s surprising… The same group who controls a big mine enterprise in South Africa controls a newspaper in Austria, or England, or Australia… You’ll find a lot of business. Oil, bank… And it’s hard to track this, usually. I don’t know if you’ll be able to find that on Internet.
But if you insist, you may believe in everything you read or listen… Or see. They can “edit” images very well currently.
You are conservative, and biased like everybody else. No problem with that. But it’s a waste of time discuss anything with a guy who said a thing like that:

Very smart.
And about that cartoonist...
You know, his newspaper censored a lot of cartoons about the Christianity some time before the Mohammed cartoon's episode... Did you know that?
Edited: The author of the cartoons is the same guy; he likes to bash religions...

Why? This is a matter of faith, more than a matter of logic. This could be true IF the US strategies in Middle East worked... That crap was not planned as should be… People like Al-Maliki are important, but less than you think, IMHO.
Btw,

The sad thing is that the following part is true. Or, at last, I agree with you on it…

About that, keep an eye on Iran.
Btw, the US can't equip the iraqis with that firepower... Again.
There is a much reviled statute of McKinkley, an Indian killer, near where I live, and quite often citizens accesorisie him with their political commentary. On 1/1, he was adorned with a dog's chocker, which looked like a hangman's noose. I used to abhor the statue, but I realised the possiblities for laughs far ourweighed my disgust.
