Are you condoning Nazism, sir? After all, Bulgaria was an axis nation during WW2.
Tacc you haven't done your history homework it seems to me, go back to the history books and read closely what happened and what were the reasons. Than come back and chat. Nothing against you, i just want to see some mature views here.

let's see....Bulgaria, in an attempt to be greedy and grab as much land as it can to restore its pathetic "Empire" of the past, decides to once again ally itself with among the most bloodthirsty and evil regiemes history has ever known, one that resulted in the death of millions upon millions of innocent people.

Gee, what a wonderful history you have!

I personally believe that bulgarian demands towards Dobrudja, parts of Thrace and Macedonia are understandable, though if Macedonian wanted to form their own nation, it's their right.
But Dobrudja and at least part of eastern Thrace were majorly or largely Bulgarian, so I don't find it evil and lang-grabbing to demand them.
And as if only modern history counted.
I think a stain on bulgarian history is persecution of Turks.

But still i don't agree what you said about the Turks, when did conquest and agression become a benchmark for measuring traditon. Turks were good only in waging wars and subduing people and destroying other cultures.

And also, were you speaking of the Greeks or the country Greece, because both are very different. The gap between both civs is like 2000 years, so one has nothing to do with the rest. Indeed the ancients Greeks were a great civilization.
I think You can not reduce turkish culture to conquest only.
They did harm to other cultures, but they had their own.
An ability to create a long-lasting big empire is itself a great accomplishement

When it comes to Greeks, of course their culture changed, but there is a continuation of language and culture.
Personally, I think people deny Greeks their heritage because they are jealous

That's the thing about the US. We don't define Americans to be one race anyone and everyone is welcome as long as they're not criminals, agree to obey the law, pay their taxes, and take an oath of loyalty. If I had my way I'd make it open borders between all NAFTA countries as well as the EU, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the CIS, and South Korea. Basically all of the first world countries.

That we we can have labor move around to where it can best be utilized just as we now have capital and goods moving around where ever they can best be utilized. That would reduce unemployment in high unemployment areas, ease the worker shortages in places experiencing shortages, and improve equality between all member states. It's a good thing really.

The catagory is based upon economic parity. India has 1 billion people the majority of which are poor. China has 1.3 billion people the majority of which are poor. Find a low skilled peasant (you have around 600 million to choose from) and ask him if he'd rather work his ass off for barely enough food or get a poor but by his standard great living off of welfare in the 1st world. Most of the peasants will take it thus countries which have massive numbers of peasants won't be getting open borders agreements with rich countries.

Therefor I adopt the pragmatic approach of open borders between peer nations.
