That's funny, mine doesn't. Mainly because it doesn't stretch it, it puts black bars on the sides if the image is 4:3...

But I'd say 90%+ of the content I watch/play on my TV is in widescreen. And it's way better.

Well, 4:3 still is wider than tall too.
It would be really interesting to figure out the real aspect ratio of the average human eye.
At least when watching the extreme widescreen used in recent cinema (LotR) I had the feeling I had to read it like a comic, first looking at what happens in the left part and then what happens in the right part (which made me miss some things happening in the right half ).


One other bad thing (when it comes to computer) is that tall graphics will be shown really small. So if I watch that big breasted porn star I either have to scroll up and down to see everything (and don't say, just forget about the head ) or see her much smaller than on a normal screen.

I had that avatar before cronos had it, then changed my avatar a few times, and now I'm back to it. I change my avatar from time to time, but this is one of very few I came back to. Goya's "Kronos eating his children" is one of the greatest pictures ever drawn.
