I think there's only two real choices, giving that all the groups know me and have contacted me. I need a group with the power to protect me. As such I'd probably go with the shadowy agency. If they want to kill me they have the power to do so regardless, since they could've easily infiltrated any of the other groups (except maybe the hippies), so the idea is go to the secret agency and pray they are merciful.
The problem with the hippies (and a number of other groups for that matter) is they are ineffectual and also unable to offer any real protection, furthermore and this is the big issue - being with the hippies and/or telling them a secret which people will kill for will put their lives in danger which isn't fair. But for the members of the secret agency being in constant danger is part of the job description.
The Dem party member may make sense if his offer of protection is actually credible.
It depends mostly on the nature of the secret. The safest course of action would be, as publicly as possible, tell everyone. Or if that's likely to result in being killed by a lunatic or whoevers' life you've ruined then do it via the interwebs. If everyone knows, there's no incentive to kill to keep the secret safe...
OTOH if it's a secret which would be very bad for society to know then there's only two options: Trust one of the groups with the secret (trusting they'll neither leak it nor use it for malice and also protect you, else why tell them?) or take the secret to the grave... one way or another... got cyanide pills?
because at least three of those groups (maybe four) would use torture to extract the secret and if they can all contact you, then you are screweded.
