I'd use FLAC or Vorbis, should my non-computer systems support them... Bah, MP3 is new and exciting to these companies...

I tend to burn joints. Er, MP3-CD's with Joint stereo, VBR, 192 min.

Mostly own rips, at that. Vivaldi and pals goes cheap these days.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

I'm a neat freak or I would do VBR. All 192 just looks tidier.

I used to do mp3 192, now I do wma 192. I should go and rerip all that other music into wma but I'm too lazy.

That's why you have to rip your music in a lossless format like FLAC. Once its done, its done. If done right, you'll never have to rerip or retag your music again. After that, you can easily mass convert your songs in a lossy format like MP3, AAC or WMA.

But I've spoke of that before. I have like 1400 CD's in MP3 format already. They sound fine to me. I am not going to reconvert 1400 or more. I could. I'm not though.

The entire point of ripping in a lossy format is to save hard drive space.

                    You don't say?

But its not so much a problem anymore on PC's now that hard drives are big and cheap. Its more of an issue on MP3 players.

Yeah, I remember. It was just a word of advice for the kids, before they find themselves in your situation.

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
