Well, as Hard as it is to admit, I am 47, Battling Highblood Pressure (using Lisinopril), Type II Diabettes (Avandamet 4MG/1000MG Metformin X 2 Daily) plus Tricor 145 MG daily and Crestor 5 MG every other day.

All this to keep a Grandpa Trol moving and ticking.

I watch what I eat (hand to mouth to Potty) and exercise semi-regularley (righ forefinger double clicks between CTP-CIV III, CIVIV and Ot and occassional Other Games Forums) for a "Give-it-all-ya-gut" workout.

My Grandfather lived to be 88 and my Dad is 78 so i figure I'll keep trying. Worse than my above mentioned symptoms is the concern of Cancer which runs in family (Dad working though his)

Good luck Lancer hope it al works out my friend

        Same to you gramps

I wonder if the secret of our families longevity is not having docs around telling them balony and pushing pills?

Watch out for diet pop except if it has splenda. The other suff screwed up my digestion really bad.

I don't know if it's better. I suppose you get some roughage from the seeds, and they add a nutty flavor.

Can't use whole seeds, though - you won't get any oil unless they're milled or ground.

I haven't had any problems with aspartame. (So far.)

I'd prefer the real stuff, but I don't get enough exercise to counter all the sugar.

I don't understand why - I do plenty of thumb and forefinger crunches!

That should suffice, as long as its done bi weekly and in multiple sets of 20 minute minimums up to 30 minutes each

My father drank and smoked himself to death in his 70s, his brother is still kicking against the ****** at 85 and his sister just died at 84. My mother died in her 70s and she was diabetic like I am, but I have better self control and a less self destructive lifestyle, ie I have sugerless hot choco with my splash of rum.

I don't want to cut out my medicinal rum, but any advise on what to do to lower colesterol?
For me it is almost entirely exercise.

VD! I thought I had it once. Burned horrible when I pissed. Eventually I started using water to put out camp fires.

One trick you can use is switching to egg substitute (Egg Beaters and the like).

It's the yolk of the egg that causes collesteral problems. With egg substitute, they take out the yoke, put in carotine (the stuff that makes carrots orange) and some other junk. It's surprisingly like the real thing...a little lighter in weight. It comes as a liquid, so you're pretty much limited to scramble eggs, omelets and the like. You can't tell the difference when you making things like cakes with it.

I have had some cholestral problems, and I don't eat meat and wasn't eating much eggs or anything. The issue is in the exercise, for me.
