As far as I know, the info about Jews being persecuted comes often from Isaac Babel and other soviet propagandists, whom, prejudiced against Poles and often left-leaning, jewish "researchers" tend to believe.
And what it has to do with the topic, I don't know.
And lets be honest - nothing can compare to the vandalism and brutality of soviet soldiers. Soviet soldiers were TOLD by authorities to rape. Soviet soldiers were incited to rob, and Soviet Union itself stole and robbed giant quantities of everything, especially artwork, which remains trapped in it until today, because it is treated as a war trophy.
