China is Communist in name only. In reality it is becoming quasi-Fascist.

Meh, stopping Walmart is entirely worth this sort of stuff.

No, of the big box stores (instead of botiques) Nordies is near the top of the price ladder. Maybe Saks 5th Ave can beat them on snob appeal but there just aren't to many other department stores which can command those prices. At least not on the west coast.

Well that turned out much better than I expected.

Rich uncle decided to a) have me quit Wal-Mart, b) pay tuition long enough for me to finish school, c) move me out of where I was living, and d) give me a stipend for that amount of time.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Yaaay, instead of being a loser at Walmart you can sponge off your rich relatives!

Great news indeed. I forgot; what degree and major are you going for?

                      1. Department stores generally arent called big box retail.

                      2. Of the dept stores, I think Lord & Taylor, Nieman Marcus, and Saks are all above Nordstroms on snob appeal. Nordstroms is more about really good service than it is about super snob appeal. If L&T was Mercedes, and Nieman was Cadillac, Nordstroms would be somewhere between Volvo and Lexus. Whatever.
