    The guts, not the knees. But when I was in HS a baseball teammate and I whooped damn near the entire JV basketball team in 2 on 2 games They were a bunch of hotshot black dudes intent on putting the smackdown on us white boys

    True, but the differing legal status, where it does exist, still gives gov't the power to make our decisions. In the US we're gungho in our drug war and as a result many people in pain dont get the relief they need because the DEA keeps a watchful eye on the people who prescribe narcotics. Hell, we jail sick and dying people for using marijuana.

      Well, duh. Making our decisions is pretty much what governments do. It's what they're for.

                  dont hide behind "society", you've decided. But to answer your question, it aint society feeling the pain. It aint society that dies when someone in alot of pain take their life because Kidicious decided they dont need those painkillers.

                    I think doctors have decided that they don't need heroin. Doctors don't generally like to be reduced to common drug dealers.

                        I think doctors have decided that they don't need heroin. Doctors don't generally like to be reduced to common drug dealers.
                        Doctors are undermedicating patients in pain because the DEA can and will revoke their "license" to practice medicine. Yeah, Doc is no longer a common drug dealer if he leaves his patients in plenty of pain. It aint up to my doctor to inform me of how much pain I'm in, or what painkiller works best for me. Thats up to me, I'm the one in pain.

                            Yeah, they're ****ing mindreaders. And they aren't free to make those evaluations, they have the DEA looking over their backs.

                              Berz, if you are arging that the drug addicted patients are going to make a better decision than a doctor or even the govt regulatory agency I think you are going to have a very bad argument. If you are just trying to nag me about not accepting your libertarian moral code/ideology then you are waisting your time.
