    Thanks BlackCat. Now that's an answer. Then I have another question...why does it take 21 hours of flight to get to taiwan? 21 x .91 mach = 14169 miles

    Taiwan is not 14169 miles away form montreal...

          Thats because 21 x .91 mach = 10616 miles
          With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                              Maybe it's because there are no direct route from montreal to taipei flying air canada (and I guess that they would be the only company interested in flying such a route).

                                Spec, I'm almost positive there isn't a direct flight. I know Air Canada doesn't have one, and the only other airline that might would be Air China (main carrier of Taiwan) and they don't either. That alone pretty much solves why it takes 21 hours to get there from Montreal.
