How can I humiliate the idiots of this forum when I can't dig out posts by all those morons declaring for instance, what a cakewalk Iraq would be etc - or finding previous posts backing up certain points and positions

What is worse is I don't even pay for this laughable subscription called Poly Plus. If I were paying I would demand my money's 'worth' and want such an integral part of a forum such as 'search' working!!!

The search works. The OTF just isn't included for searching by default -- select it by hand from the board dropdown.

Having never searched extensively through them I am not sure exactly what is available.

I stand corrected. The normal ot seems to go back to the beginning of 2005. The archive goes back to sometime in 2001. (which is before 2003 )

I'm not sure if every thread was archived, but the vast amount would lead me to believe yes.

Like I said, I'm not sure of all the parameters.
I think at the beginning they actually choose which thread to archive to avoid wasting space on all the "ME" type threads, or others lacking content. So some threads were overlooked.

Maybe Ming will have a better answer.

Searching for 'Iraq' under 'any date', you're saying I will find lots and lots of pre Feb 2005 Iraq threads?

If I said I could only find one (dated 2004), would you be a sweety-pie and provide me some links to some 'Iraq' 2003 ones...
