Heavy taxes only work to a certain point. When you go too far the black market kicks in. I haven't paid a dime in cigarette taxes for about 2-3 years now.

Actually no I dont. I dont think of the world as my giant ashtray thats why i have one in the car. I am usually condsiderate to my kids if they ask me not to smoke in the car i wont, just as i dont allow them to sit in the front seat, even if they ask. My oldest is 16 almost the size of a grown man at 6 3 250 lbs i still make him sit in the back so he will not be hurt by the airbag. My kids are all old enough to ask me not to smoke in front of them and i listen when they ask.
I was saying that if i did and they havent asked me to not smoke the windows are always down.
Back to the throwing butts out the window i wont do if for reason i already said but its also a very dangerous habit. Especially in texas when the grass on the side of the road is dry, fires and all

You'd have to be some kind of idiot to go inside a smoking bar yourself, much less take children.

                  Let's count the negatives.

Smoke. Fire. Impeding the firefighters. It goes on and on.

Once again. Arkansas did this last year. Anyone who smokes in the car with a child who is required to have a safety booster seat (under six years or sixty pounds) gets a $200 fine, IIRC.

at some interesections in my city, the mediuns are just covered with cigarrette butts, because no one really cleans them up (until they do road work).
