Oh, she's not doing a lawsuit. She has no grounds, technically. I think she's given up on even going to the press. Most reactions have been akin to the others here--shockingly callous. "Dumb ***** deserved it," etc. It seems kind of warped to me; the guy sabotages her job as a joke and she's the one most deserving of criticism for failing to catch him? Huh? Even if she should have checked, I don't see how "Borat" is perfectly in the right here.

And just to make it clear, I'm definitely not defending the frat boys, though I think it's in bad taste to take advantage of drunks, even when they're douchebags.

Turning racist/sexist when drunk is suspicious, yeah, but the fact that they were hammered when they signed the release forms is more substantial. I doubt it'll hold up, but it's more substantial, at least.

Nor has she given up on the idea of the media, since her story has been all over Salon.com (I read it there before you wrote anything here). I'm pretty sure I read she was filing a lawsuit, but I might be mixing it up with the frat boys.

Another article I saw on drudge says the romanian village he filmed at is sueing as well. The article may be biased, but it seems like he did take advantage of them. They only got paid about 3 pounds a piece.
