  • US Poll Results

Doesn't look like a results thread has been posted, so here goes.

Here is the state of play...

No real surprises so far. Corker (R) looks like he ran stronger against Ford (D) in TN than expected, though. Casey (D) took PA. VA Senate is really close (as Allen (R) ran a really poor race). NJ stayed Dem. Brown (D) won Ohio. Apparently, they care less in NJ about corruption than in Ohio.

Still haven't seen anything on the MD Senate race.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Maryland doesn't close the polls until 9, I think.

Dems will take the House comfortably, but I think the GOP holds the Senate by either 51-49 or 50-50.

The breakdown of the VA polls is interesting. The top two income brackets are pro-Webb by about 10%.

If Webb didn't take the Virginia Senate, that's something of an argument against a sea-change kind of election.

The House is really tough to judge at this point.

Very expected. Casey's patrimony is golden and PA is somewhat of an odd state that fits Casey well (Democrat pro-life). It was Casey's to lose.

Santorum was a ****ing embarassment to the Senate and to the people of PA

CNN is projecting Cardin even though Steele holds a commanding lead with virtually no votes counted.

The Cardin call is rather early. Prince George's isn't in yet.

                              Exit polls, probably.

I can't believe you guys allow that.
