It's my understanding that hanging is an extremely dishonorable way to die in the middle east because it was introduced to the area by the western colonial powers after WW1. It's a double humiliation because it is a death only meted out to criminals and because it is associated with infidels.

I'm against the DP in general, but in his case I won't shed a tear when I see the headline. However, ideally I'd like to see him carted off to an american prison to spend the rest of his life. Purely for the humilation aspect. Televised would be good too.
