What language or languages are you writing it in? The Python/Boost/C++ Dll/XML architecture in Civ4 has persoanly been quite fun to mod, what do you think of its architecture?

It's in C++ (DirectX), using XML for lots of data storage and using the Boost library also.

if you really want to do it right though, go to your local university's architecture department and schmooze with the students there, to see what them future architects will be building 50 years from now. many will also be begging for opportunities for their designs to show up in a real video game, since that's the career half of 'em really want to do anyway.Visit First Cultural Industries
