If the Danish Cartoons' hosts had been taken down by DOS attacks, we'd definitely have had a thread about it on 'Poly

(btw, the Danish cartoons weren't that easy to find at the beginning of the crisis, because of an immense self-censorship, which is also bad )

Thanks for the article. I didn't know the press was so restricted in Iran. Edit: while reading a bit more, it seems Iran also strongly restricts bloggers. I didn't expect free speech to be so curtailed there.

There are different grades in repressive regimes. I didn't expect them to be to the point they put bloggers in jail.
