I guess I took this too literal, but I dont believe there has ever been anyone who hasn't ever said something that they knew wasn't true. Even though the orignal question didn't state it, I guess it was meant to only pertain to this board. If that is the case I can not think of a case when I have lied.

Now, on the other hand when the wife asks "How do I look tonight" before we go out on the town or my kid asks me what I think about his basketball abilities, the pure truth does not always come out of my mouth.

I dont think so...I dont remember lying...and I wouldn't see the point either. In my personnal life I do sometimes, but more like when I return an item in a store or something like that. Not on poly though.

I hadn't considered DGs, but now that I do... I cannot recall ever telling an outright lie. I'm sure I "spun" something, though, and that's prolly close enough. At the very least, I think I used some delaying tactics in the run up to the Great Bobian War.

But seriously, I recall being very touchy about the idea of flat-out lying. Hence some of my disagreements with Beta.
