    Your list is faulty. There is no way Jacksonville is one of the safest cities. It's regularly shown on COPS. It's the only city in which I've ever been attacked. I had a serial killer for a cab driver, twice (same guy). The police are in the top ten most trigger happy in the country. It's one of the most dangerous places in the country to drive, in the top ten for most accidents.

      Yeah, but Wisconsin seems to have a disproportionate number of serial killers in their small towns.

                          The violent crime rate is still going down in DC at a pretty good clip. Murder is down about 10% from last year, f.e.

                              Cripes. I just moved out of Stockton, CA. Although I had never seen any crime there I knew it was an overall bad city, so I'm glad the wife and I left. We just moved to Dublin, a pretty safe town. Of course the wife still works in Oakland, but that's not likely to change anytime soon.

                                Does anyone know what crimes they used to compile this list?

                                I still can't believe Paradise is on there. Most crime there is property crime. I don't want to scare you guy away from the Las Vegas strip. You really can't find a better area. But if you leave something lying around, it will get stolen. But I don't think I've ever heard of any rapes or murders in that area (besides the aforementioned public housing area near Maryland Parkway).
