It's one of the hazards of cultural relevance. No wars have been waged about me, but that's not because I'm especially conducive to peace; I'm just not important enough to fight over.

And yes, I realize I'm feeding a troll here, but I have essays to avoid writing and need an excuse.

Reasons and excuses are different things.

War of Jenkin's ear for example? Yeah, that was a fight with a valid pretext....

Blame God, it's easier that way.

You'd have to be pretty nuts to suggest that religion was anywhere near a major cause of WW 1, WW 2, the Korean conflict, Vietnam, the Spanish-American war, the Civil War, the Napoleonic Wars, and the list goes on. Most wars for the past 500 years have involved religion only peripherally.

                  You're a rather pathetic atheist.

I shouldn't respond to this troll, but religious wars have been out for many, many years. Since nations started forming and patriotism has been on the rise, wars have been over culture and nationalism, not religion.

                          Almost all the ant wars.

No they aren't. Their style of government is plainly communist, and we all know commies don't have souls.
