sloww, you have to realize that every situation is different and there are times where the loss of life is neccesary to save the world(Civil War, WWII). It's not black and white, and you know it.

Tennessee is probably the prettiest state in the Union (sorry Sloww ). You owe yourself to see it. And there are some really cool cities in it as well: Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chatanooga, Gatlinburg, etc.
