Have you ever been banned, and why?

    Many times..

    Once for posting in as many threads as quickly as possible. Once for implying (or flat out saying) that Rah and Ming were gay together. Once for claiming to be a priest from the god of forum flunctutations which were eating our threads (After Ming/Mods had deleted a number of mine).

    And a number of other times, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes not.

    I haven't been banned in a couple years though. My first ban was in Summer of 2001 (before that all my posts were seious and ontopic (even in the OT)).

          I've never been banned from 'Poly. I blame Ming's dereliction of duty.

                    Just once.

                    Shortly after joining here, I was banned by Ming for a day or two, for some offense that I honestly can't recall. All I remember is that I didn't even realize I had done something wrong, and that I was required to post an apology or correction or some such.

                        I was banned twice. In both cases, I asked Ming to ban me until further notice, because I had too much work and 'poly was sucking my soul.

                            No, never been banned. I've never gone out of my way to get banned, which it seems is the way many of you do...

                            I did take a haitus for ~6 months, but never asked the mods to ban me.

                                I don't remember now that you ask. I might have been banned several years ago for bumping a bunch of my posts for no good reason. Or maybe for trolling the Civ3 development suggestion thread..
