Anyway, I will continue using Firefox (using Firefox 2 rc3 right now). But hopefully IE 7 will be less buggy, meaning that my student job coding a web application will become easier.

As long as IE is the main target for irritating popups/ads, and Firefox is the only browser which has adblock, I will continue using Firefox.

Does IE 7 have a build-in spell checker?

Having gotten in some time with IE7, I can safely say that IE's tabs SUCK. Unless there's an option I'm missing, this is just terrible. Two things: 1) Ctrl-Tab should go back to the last tab accessed, not the first tab in IE, which is stupid, and 2) when I close a tab is should go back to the last tab accessed, not the one arbitrarily in front of or behind it.

It's very obvious to me that anyone who is impressed with IE's tabs has never used Opera before.

Firefox isn't the only browser with adblock.

Since when does Opera have a real adblock?

Does it block Flash and Java ads yet? How about page overlays? How does the whitelist/blacklist update servers work?

How much does Firefox pay you to slut yourself for them?

I prefer the Java free version of Opera.

It's not my fault Opera is behind the curve.

                  That's your opinion.

There's a difference in stating a personal preference, and saying that anyone not using the same is an idiot.

Yes, there is. And I'd appreciate it if you'd differentiate.

                    Thanks.

(By the way, it is not personal preference -- Opera's content blocking functionality is significantly behind Firefox's. This is fact.)
