I played for 11 hours yesterday... I'm completely addicted. I managed to only do 1.5 today since I've got an assignment and midterms tomorrow. I'm 23 hours into the game and am only a bit past halfway through the first disk

This should probably be in Other Games. Anyway, it may have tentacles, but probably in a non-sexual context. Probably. One can't say for sure when dealing with the Japanese. I've only played the original Tales of Phantasia (the amusing fan-translated ROM), and it was pretty awesome, though mostly for the battle system. Insane, frantic fun. The original Star Ocean (made by the same developers afterwards) was a little bit too frantic, but ToP got it just right.Comment
