yeah yeah, I certainly know those schools except Syracuse, that's why I'm checking it out today. Other Ivy League schools are of course known, just have to see their variety and competency on comp sci.

The best I can do is say that Northern California is the center of the computer world so you'll likely find the best schools there.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.Comment

My Experience
I have gone to both UC Berkeley and MIT. If you are really interested in information security, then I would suggest going to the University of Southern California (USC) and trying to get some sort of research stint at the Information Sciences Insitute that is associated with USC. Check out http://www.isi.edu.

Information Security as in stuff like cryptography, hacking prevention, etc?
As Kuci said, I've gotta do my plug. UofC is the best school for Cryptography in Canada (dunno about the US), with lots of leading experts that were brought over in the early 90s. They also have courses on hacking and viruses, which no other schools in Canada at least offer."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate.
