    Señor is correct for Lord, unless there is some sort of ownership assumed, and then it could be El Amo de la Luz, but again, that sort of assumes some sort of command or ownership of the light.

          Apparently the Spanish translation (for the book title, at least) is "El Señor de la Luz". Japanese is 光の王, which answers my question about whether to translate "lord" in the secular or religious sense.
