Depends on how you look at it. If you have 76 goals, which would be 100% and I have 52, then you got me beat by 32%.

If my 52 goals equal 100% then yes, you are right.

And I have a hard time seeing anyone beating most of Gretzky's single season records, either, especially playoff points (47 - in only 18 freakin' games!).

Brett Hull missed Gretzky's 92 goals by 6 in 1990/91 (or 91/92; can't remember)

Mario Lemieux missed Gretzky's 215 points by 16 in 1988/89

So I'd say that those records are attainable, depending on the prevailing scoring climate.

I really don't think anybody will put together a career like Gretzky's again in the next century. He might be beat season-on-season at some point, but not overall.

Lemieux was better tahn Gretzky. If he had been healthy his whole career, he would have beaten gretzky. Also, Gretzky had great players with him, Edmonton was a destruction machine. Lemieux had squat. Overall, lemieux is a better player imo.
