For the most part, I question Bush's policies (for example, his foreign policy, which he lost me when he went into Iraq).
Yet to hear a foreign leader call him "the devil," among other things, is more than just a little disconcerting. Chavez and his fellow firebrands could do a better job by being more nuanced and civilized when it comes to opposing Bush. Basically, I'm saying that I'd rather listen to the calm, quiet individual who's making logical, sound arguments against Bush's policies than the screamer, ranter and raver next to him who's making it damn near impossible to get a word in edgewise.
Besides, when the screamers, ranters and ravers dominate, they tend to feed off of each other, which bodes ill for everyone else in the room.
But, hey, what do I know? I'm just one of those old-fashioned moderates who don't matter anymore in a world which has a *glorious* future ahead of it.
