I've just read that CNN and other places are reporting that 1 of the suspects was at Sherbrooke and Peel just a little while ago, and the police had him at a standoff.

If you know the geography of Montreal, that's a healthy distance from Dawson. I cringe to think of the damage if he was gunslinging that entire distance.

I doubt he could carry that much ammunition and still not get noticed. He'd be to encumbered to run far.

Local news say 1 shooter. He was shot dead by Montreal police. 20 wounded, 11 of them not in danger of dying according to General Hospital spokeswoman ( those 11 are the ones @ her hospital) even if some are critical (?)

If you really want to kill lots of people then you need to use explosives packed with nails. Preplace them in a busy place and use your cellphone to set them off then wait 10 minutes or so for people to come out of hiding and for police to show up then set off the second group of bombs. After that you open fire from a fortified and elevated position like a bell tower.

I'd make a great mass murdering terrorist.

My condolences to the Canadians in general and the people of Montreal in particular having something like this happen is like losing your innocence.
