There's never been a rule. Attachments (which are stored on the Apolyton server) can't be bigger than 800x600 (and 500 kB), but if you upload a pic elsewhere and link to it from here you can make them as big as you want (although it's generally frowned upon to post pics directly into the thread that are considerably wider than 800 pixels without good reason -- it screws up the display of the thread and wastes bandwidth). In extreme cases a mod might ask you to resize the pic or just post a link or thumbnail or whatever, but there'd have to be a very compelling reason.

everyone has seen pictures of my city. No reason to post them.
There are 2 kinds of pictures. I can post the "clean" pictures which are "touched up" pictures similar to those pictures of Minneapolis. You know they are touched up because they show no smog. My city never looks as good as those postcards.
Or I could show you "real" pictures of my city. Smog and all.

hmm, I'm determined to find the most unflattering pictures of my city I can find. This is proving tough. As most websites associate my city with porn.
. so I get a lot of porn images I can't post here. Maybe I'm just not using the search terms. I could go out and take some pictures myself, but I'm too lazy.
damn, it's hard finding pictures of prostitutes in Vegas. Here's what I come up with.
I think these guys are banned now. They were just trying to make a quick buck
that reminds me, I can always post pictures of nuke tests.. They only did this when Las Vegas was upwind of the tests.
