My first thought upon seeing this (despite me knowing the actual story) was that Mr. Dis had killed Mrs. Dis. And it got me thinking... I wonder if we do actually have any psychotic/sociopathic/serial killer types on this board.

Apolyton is mostly white males, the most likely demographic for serial killing. We have nearly eighty five thousand members, which means we're bound to get people on the low ends of statistical curves. And you simply never know when someone is going to snap.

How do we know, for example, that JohnT didn't disappear because he butchered his family and ran to Mexico to escape his fate?

How do we know, for example, that when Dis says he hasn't had sex, he's not failing to mention all the decaying corpses he has had sex with?

The anonymity of the internet can provide a cover for those that aren't quite as... adjusted... as the rest of us. Anyone can fake being normal. You never know.

If death is on your mind, try Spec's attraction method, get them to leave with you, then stick an icepick in their eye. However, Spec's method can easily attract the male version so you may have to fight it out serial killer to serial killer.

Otherwise, we need to have more local Apolyton get togethers in which we can meet each other. I'm certain the straight white males will outnumber all other options combined, but it's worth a shot. At least we've got Civ to break the ice with. From there, who knows?
