How do you get a girl?

Yes I know about asking these kinds of questions. . And I won't bore you with my personal life again, but I am into another girl (actually it's a girl I mentioned here before- a work associate).

If you are too aggressive you are considered a stalker, and if you are too timid you end up in the friend category or worse. So what exactly is the middle ground?

I've heard about rules about not calling women more than once a week. Is this good advice? And where can I find these rules?

It's important to not appear too desperate (even though I am). I'm just wondering how to go about this.

work girls? if you insist. go to regular works drinks, like every friday after work or something. Regular drinks can turn into occasional club nights, if people are leaving and so on. Pack your dancing shoes, and dance like no-one is watching

A. Only annoying girl like me.

I'd second Snotty's advice and add that you should not be that worried about going into the "friend" category.

Ask her if she'd like to go out after work for coffee. Keep it simple and see if you hit it off over coffee or not (assuming she says yes. If she says no then you can harbor bitter resentment until you don't like her anymore, then move along.)

Not true. Depends on how aggressive you are. One way you can ask her out is that...you dont. Well, you dont give her a choice. You dont ask her, you tell her. Example, you come up to her and say: " Hey Sheela, you know what? I'm taking you out on saturday, my treat, where do you wanna go?"

It works for me.

That's not a rule. The rule is the 3 day waiting period after the first date. If you call her right away, you'll seem to eager, even if you are. And if you wait 5 days, then she'll probably call you first if she's into you.

Be yourself. Easy. Act as if she was a waitress somewhere that is there to gave you food, but be pleasent, and a bit arrogant, you know, funny arrogant, not annoying arrogant.
