Wins is better for the manager with the weaker goalies since any given team could easily win 2 in a row, but having Buttercup in net that team might have to score 12 to win by 1 in each of 2 games.

Oh boy. I'm okay with SOG, not really with Faceoffs. I am torn on the G stats - GAA and SV% and no Wins helps people with some types of goalies, hinders others.

Regardless, I fully expect that those towards the end of the line are going to get hosed either way, as the early pickers will adapt to whichever stats we go with.

SOG > Faceoff stats

but i'd still prefer to keep both out.


Anyway about it, I dont think I'm too heavily opposed to any option.

Turco won 41 games but was 15th in GAA.

Kipper was .5 GAA lower than Turco and only won a single game more.

Alright, how about just wins and sv% with two minimum starts. Does that address our issues?

I don't like wins, when 1 team might have 2 starters, and the other only 1.

I think 2 starts isn't enough - and that's coming from someone who will be challenged to get 2 decent netminders.

2 minimum starts is going to favour the stronger goalies.

The manager with the stronger starter can count on 2 good starts early in the week far more than the manager with weaker.

It also affords me more of an opportunity to shelter my horse from Ottawa, Detroit, etc.

I'm not big on PIM, and it would totally change the drafting strategy - for better or for worse.

Add SOG to skaters, leave G stats alone, including the 3 starts.

Would you rather wins with Florida's starter, or GAA?

OK, so three starts is better than two? How about three starts, GAA and sv%?
