I'm not shocked or surprised at this either, btw. These are just two episodes in a non-stop campaign against Serbs and other non-Albanians (including the UN), that never make the news in the west.

The only thing that is considered newsworthy is a full-on pogrom like March 04, when it is presented as evidence that the violent radicals should be given exactly what they want - an ethnically pure gangster-paradise.

As much as I hate the propaganda I'm getting here in France when it comes to the general area, the pogroms weren't presented like that. They were presented as proving that the Serbs aren't the only bad guys around.

Ethnically pure gangster paradises are not all bad. Bombing Serbia on general principles served Clinton well. No one in the Balkans knows where the "true" borders are. The whole area is subject to claims and counterclaims beyond the imagination of US citizens.

My main surprise is the two women managed to make it over a fence under fire from several automatic weapons without getting hit. These raiders are either very bad shots, were drunk at the time, were not really serious (scare mode), or any combination of the three.

It wasn't the Albanians fault. They just got a little lost.
Their real goal was to attack France. After 10 minutes without a complete surrender from the other side they realised their mistake, apologized and went home again.

I'm not saying anything like that and I'm not really saying that it was a good thing Serbia got bombed, but if the alternative was another decade or so of that ethnic cleansing sh!t, then yeah, I'm glad they got bombed and I'm just sorry it didn't happen sooner.

No, the Serbs were not and are not the only bad guys around, but they were the biggest @ssholes at the time and they kept pushing and pushing and pushing it. I'm not sorry they got bombed. They made their own bed and they got to lie in it.

As for Darfur, if it was up to me, the Janjaweed militias and their supporters would be getting cluster bombs for breakfast and napalm for dessert right about now - or preferably some months ago. -And maybe a little white phosphorus to make a nice topping. I don't care what they're fighting for and what their enemies did to piss them off. If they can't make a stand for themselves without running around attacking civilians, they don't deserve any better.

The Sudanese government? Well, the way I see it, if Darfur is a province of Sudan, then the people there are Sudanese people. Any government who does not protect and take care of it's own people has no right to govern anything, so F@?K the Sudanese government. Somebody with *A LOT* of balls and guns should go in there and take Darfur away from them, 'cause they clearly aren't fit to govern it.

Yeah, I do get a bit militant at times, don't I?

Actually, I agree with most you said

But I'm still wondering if Sava wants to nuke this region too
