She still posts at CG all the time. She stopped posting here a few years ago when she and and a certain person who shall remain unnamed but who lives in upstate New York had a very public break up. DM said her login got deleted due to such a long period of disuse and asked Ming to reactivate it for her but I'm not sure how that turned out.Originally posted by Lonestar

Her log on was never deleted... it did have a problem because of a very old email address attached to it. The problem was taken care of when she contacted me, and as you can see if you check the membership list, she shows as registered. She just decided not to post.Originally posted by Oerdin

There's one significant flaw in your story - I couldn't have been drinking underage, since there was no drinking age at the time. It was only later on, in recent years, that they set it to 15, then 16. Also I think I was one of the cool kids with ISDN. Or at least my father was.
To be fair, the entire story thread thing would have probably come up anyway, and I had nothing to do with it at all, but it was cool to set it off by freak accident.
A thread that in itself was more noteworthy though was Absolute Silliness, founded by Ming encouraging people to spam away in that particular thread on the condition that they kept it there. In his defense, this was before the Off-Topic forum so everybody's random garbage kept interfering with the Civ2 stuff.
Gregor's first Coffee Shop thread, even if nobody can remember it by now, probably stands out as the most important one in the big scheme of things. Unlike story threads, that concept survived for years.
Look Spiffor, there's nothing evil in feta cheese no matter its country of orign. Did you perchance have a bad experience with Danish feta in early childhood? There must be some people you can talk to.Comment
