The Boy's Club

I have learned that at my small company (less than 400 ppl total over 5 locations, plus sales force) that there is a Boy's Club.

This club is a pact of employees who have vowed to protect each other over and beyond anything that is really work related. They have, to my knowledge, overlooked or encouraged sexual harassment (slept with employees, hire based on looks), racism (forced certain minorities to quit), nepotism (hired within their families), and are generally able to get away with anything short of murder, including doing absolutely nothing.

I have no problem with this group, which include management and 1 upper management personnel. I have a great reputation with everyone in this Boy's Club and Out, with the exception of my own upper management boss who is not apart of this club, and is, in fact, hated by the Boy's Club (with good reason). The club revolves mainly around motorcycles.

My concern; how do I exploit these idiots? First, I'm going to take good notes and write a nice juicy little book out of it based off their characters. Second,....

I have no idea. I want to exploit these bastards as much as I can. Any idea how, or what to do, etc...?

Or should I just get fired and sue the hell out of them?

one of the guys here was telling an upper management guy, not in the club, but managed by someone in it, that he should fire 2 guys. these 2 guys are in the club.

thus this guy learned about the club and told everyone

and MisterMan is not a club member, in fact, he's a club hater

I've already decided that job one is to make MisterMan happy, and I have been doing so.

Pissed him off the other day, but that couldn't be helped, and he understood. I'll go talk to him soon about getting my boss canned. He needs to power trip, for my sake. He's an honest guy, with a good head on his shoulder. However, MisterMan is very ignorant of manufacturing, which sucks since he's the head of it.... mainly by default.

I don't see a problem with sleeping with employees (unless they are in a subordinate position)

I've seen lots of companies which hire girls due to their good looks. My current employer seems to make a habit of hiring extremely good looking, but never the less very qualified, women. There is no sexual harrassment but I for one know that I look forward to going to work a little more knowing that 3/5th's of the company is made up of hot nubile young women.

I guess I am just a man whore or at least a man with eyes.

Japher, buy a used motorcycle and hang out with these idiots. It is shallow but if they want to play the old boys' network game then you should also play it. A $2500 beater of a bike will serve and you can do the face to face time required for career advancement. It's a small price to pay to cement relationships with the people in power and you will have a superior employment position because of it.

You can either whine about this being true or you can take advantage of this fact.
