I know the relationship between filth and flies. But the thing is that the garbage bag has been out of my house and off to the dump for 2 weeks now...and I found many flies in my house just yesterday. How was I supposed to know that those larvas from 2 weeks ago were now the flies I found in my windows yesterday?! How was I supposed to know that those larvas were not just maggets/maggots (however its spelled). And also, I thought I got rid of them all, seems there were a few left.
Since I founf the flies just yesterday, I thought the problem might have been something else. And I did not know what.
Thats why I asked. Is that clear enough or you guys still dont understand ....

But this raises an interesting question. Okay it isn't that interesting.
I used this glue strip mouse trap. The mouse gets stuck to the glue strip. I kind of forgot about it for a few months. Go to check it, and there's a dead mouse there crawling with maggots.
How did the maggots get there if there are no flies in my house? And I don't recall seeing any flies in my house in years.

the only thing I can think of is a fly did indeed get into my house. I never saw it because it was always hanging out with the dead mouse. It had no reason to fly around the rest of the house. And it was in the laundry room anyways. I'm only in there when I do laundry (every 3 weeks or so). I don't think flies live that long do they?
