As a designer, the basic thing you need to know is that the two main types of color blindness have an inability to distinguish one primary color, meaning almost everything falls into one of two color groups. So just keep your contrasts in the opposing groups (which seem to be the same colors though they appear different) and you'll be okay. Actually, an olive colored scheme with burgundy links wouldn't be awful.
