You should consider formatting your drive and starting from scratch. Seriously. I've had a lot of experience with spyware infested computers, and I've found that once a system has had a serious infection it's only a matter of time before it gets bogged down again - even after a serious cleanup. Reformat, reinstall, and frm then on don't do everything logged in with administrative privileges. Assuming you have XP pro, you should only grant yourself Power User privileges for day-to-day stuff. If you need to install something, grant yourself admin rights temporarily.

The computer was already formatted several months ago. I can't go through that ordeal several times a year.

I HAVE PREVAILED! There they were, and 82 of them as well, trojan horses, those little disgustings *********. They hid for so long but I found them and oh, was the wrath I unleashed a terrible one. One by I slaughtered them, sparing none. It was a massacre. Genocide. For a just cause. SWEET VICTORY IS MINE. Gonna score a hot chick now.

What's the... uh... blow by blow account?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Nice victory, but have you learned the real lesson - not visiting all those "art" sites
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
