If I may, Faded Glory is with us and this is a good thing, for I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of his passing.

What happened was life and its jagged edges sliced through the soul and issues left unresolved presented themselves attached to a Kite of fate, flying to and fro, not having to give itself accord to anyones bidding.

He is back, celebrations from some, some friendly ribbing from others and even some unnecessary prodding from still others.

The Poster formely known as Faded Glory, passed away for a short time at Polyland and has been ressurected and in the portal we, namely me,you and anyone else, can help light the pathway for him. I say help, for it is each individual's choice where to set the next footstep toward.

But we can surely help make it a more enjoyable stay and easier path by extending warmth friendship as well as fellowship!

That was kind of cryptic, did he try to kill himself, did someone think he did or was killed by something/someone....... sigh.... I am too happy that he's back I was just wondering what happened cause I missed it it seems....

Perhaps a private message to the one and only would help you in your quest for knowledge.

Me, I dont mind sharing my life story with people because if it helps someone avoid a pitfall or avoid paying for the same toll road I had chosen to travel then I am glad I could help.

Some however would rather not have to hash back through and sift over and over what it is they may be trying to get through.

Faded Glory is still a very decent fellow Thorn

He claims he must have sent the message telling us he was dead in the throws of his drug addiction. Some folks believed he was really dead. Some suspected he wasn't. Others of us were pretty suspicious pretty much from the beginning, especially when I couldn't find an obit in his home town paper nor any news of a drunk driving homocide (his note from his "brother" claimed FG had been killed by a drunk driver). We were trying to find a place to send his family cards. We thought it would be pretty cool if they got cards of condolances from lots of people all around the world.

Regardless of what the reasons were, it was a pretty ****ty thing to do, cuz a lot of us really liked him and there was some hurt going on when we though he was dead.

Ditto here as well, I remember praying and spending days researching articles in Apolyton about any hints. I remembered shedding a tear for a man I had so enjoyed playing with CTP and for his family

I contacted old timer CTP'ers for any small shred of evidence but found none.

My point would be now to accept he has made grievous errors in judgement (I know, I have been there personally) and to help him get back on the path he should be on.

Plus, it's funny whenever he posts that half a dozen people ask "Aren't you dead?" Kinda like no-one ever spelling Thebun's name correctly.

Nose to the grindstone slingin' pizzas for Papa John's. This weekened he's goin up to visit teh Mom, and take Bunnygrrl back to Indy to visit our dad. She's ben in Chicago for the last month visiting her father who's in the hospital. He had a stroke, but he's doing as good as can be expected. Not drooling but will recover somewhat. It's hard to tell how much better he's gonna get.

I keep trying to get Thebes to come down to visit in Ft. Lauderdale.

I am living in southeastern coastal North Carolina, in Jacksonville and we have had a few weeks of 98-106 temps with heat indices around 115+ and I spoke with my Dad whom lives in central Maine and he was telling it has been in 80's (no humidty) with 40's at night, which, btw, is one of the big reasons I fell in love with the south back in my military days of mid to late 1970's

Guess it's pretty normal then. I've spent most of my life in Florida so this seems very unusaual to me.
