You mean the 'Zona defense that finished 8th in the league in yards allowed last season?

Yards allowed is a crappy tool for measuring a defense's worth. FACT!

Fantasy rankings are really definitive . What was Kurt Warner's fantasy ranking in the pre-season in 1999?

With an offense that will be much better at controlling the clock, I expect Arizona to be a very good defensive team in terms of yards and points allowed.

Almost everyone has set his starting roster at Yahoo!, and it appears I made no mistakes with the draft, so players are now unlocked. You may claim a new player at any time.

Chiefs trade for Bennett, get RB insurance
                  Associated Press
                  Posted: 39 minutes ago

The Kansas City Chiefs acquired running back Michael Bennett from the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, but insisted that didn't mean Priest Holmes would retire.

Holmes, holder of many Chiefs rushing and touchdown records, is being held out of contact by doctors because of a neck and spinal cord injury he sustained in a game last October at San Diego.

"This is not an indication that Priest is not coming back," Chiefs president Carl Peterson said Wednesday.

The Saints traded Bennett for an undisclosed choice in the 2007 NFL draft.

Holmes, a three-time Pro Bowler, was placed on the physically unable to perform list before the opening of training camp and will likely remain there for the foreseeable future.

"He's comfortable with that and we're comfortable with that," Peterson said. "We'll continue to monitor his physical well being. I've had conversations with him and he's right now where he is. But the doctors have still not given him a release to have contact."

Bennett, who signed as a free agent with New Orleans in March, appeared in 64 games with Minnesota. His best year was 2002 when he had 1,296 yards on 255 carries.

He'll provide insurance behind Larry Johnson, who emerged as a star after Holmes was injured on Oct. 30, rushing for a team-record 1,750 yards.

Although hampered by injury, Holmes rushed for 1,341 yards and 20 touchdowns in the 15 regular-season games in the 2004-2005 season.

He could be called off the physically unable to perform list at any time during training camp. Once the regular season begins, he would have to remain inactive for six weeks.

"Then you have a three-week window to practice him, activate him, keep him on PUP or do whatever you feel is necessary," Peterson said. "There are still options open for Priest. I've said it a hundred times: I wouldn't count the man out. People did before and they were wrong. I don't know what the final outcome of this will be."

It shouldn't be. Bertrand Berry is a genuinely good sack specialist, and he should be back from injury this year. He had 14.5 sacks in 2004. Chike Okeafor has proven to be good as well. Macklin and Rolle are developing well as corners. They got help in the middle from draft pick Gabe Watson and free agent Kendrick Clancy. And Adrian Wilson is the best safety in the NFL, period. It should be an average defense this year.

But then, take into account their schedule. Two games against the Niners, one of which is on fantasy superbowl day. One each against the Bears, Packers, Lions, and Vikings. One against the hapless Raiders.

Your fantasy rankings are full of crap, sir.
