It's fascinating what alcohol can make a person say.

well a 40 of 7.5% is equal to the standard 5 drinks (12 oz beer, glass of wine, shot of 80 proof)

so 5 drinks in half an hour, on an empty stomach...

Seems to me that a person who says something about the jewish people is worst than any terrorist or what ever.

          THe answer is, who cares.

          He was hella drunk.

And finally, who cares... yeah he will start the new holocauts soon, beware, he is the enemyaaaahh..

I'd like to add myself to the list of future potential bumfighters alongside Laz and, of course, KrazyHorse.

Lt. Smith denied that there was any "cover-up."

What kind of cover-up would it be if they just told everyone what happened? Oh, they did - which ****** asked that question then?

Uh, given they DIDN'T tell everyone what happened until the details leaked and they initially apparently were planning to just came out with an edited version of the report with those details ommited, it was an entirely legitimate question.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's civilian oversight office said Saturday that it will investigate whether authorities gave Mel Gibson preferential treatment when he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and tried to cover up alleged offensive comments and behavior by one of Hollywood's most powerful figures.

The probe was begun after a celebrity news website, TMZ.com, published portions of the arresting deputy's handwritten report, saying the star was abusive, shouted anti-Jewish slurs, attempted to escape from custody and boasted that he "owned Malibu." A source close to the investigation confirmed Saturday that the pages posted by the website were authentic.

On Friday, a Sheriff's Department spokesman told reporters that Gibson had been arrested that day in Malibu "without incident." But the website alleged that evening that supervisors at the Malibu-Lost Hills sheriff's station tried to downplay the actor's behavior by omitting his most offensive actions in an abridged version of the arresting deputy's report, which has yet to be made public.

"All that stuff about favorable treatment is something that needs to be looked at," said Mike Gennaco, who heads the Office of Independent Review, which investigates allegations of officer misconduct and monitors the department.

"I'd like to see if there was a legitimate law enforcement reason for asking that the report be altered," Gennaco said. He said his investigation will be wide-reaching, looking at Gibson's ties to the department. In the past, Gibson has actively participated in a charity created by Sheriff Lee Baca.

So a marginally famous Hollywood director proves that deep down inside, he's a racist clown. Does it matter?

Besides, if you take the highlights of my bright moments, most of in which I'm heavily intoxicated, I'd be the biggest ass you can think of.. oh and a racist too, definitely racist. You can't believe the number of insensitive jokes I've told, some in serious manner too...

I've hated everyone in their own turn and if there is someone I haven't hated on, step in line.

Hmm what else. Oh yeah, Gibson has been accused of being a jew hater by groups etc.... so now that he is clearly pissed off (DUI), arrested and still little drunk... he shoots his mouth off.

If only this would prove something, but it doesn't, and neither does the Jesus movie. These be all facts. But if you guys want to paint Gibson as a jew hater, go ahead, the rest of the world 'cares' about that too....

And this definitely was NOT directed to Mordoch but the phenomenon that is going on with these news.

Up to a point, after a while you get diminishing returns and then once your liver gets damaged badly enough the tolerance starts to drop. Believe me, I've seen it in action...

Lately I've been drunk on a party. I woke out of drunk blure with a mountain caucasian red from anger face of my georgian ultraorthodox and ultranationalist friend in front of me as I was mocking Georgia as an ancient armenian province... It was just for my drunk laugh,

Exactly, I've seen it myself just this week - an older guy I work with drank so much for so long in his life that now he can barely put a sentence together after a few beers. Tolerance only lasts so long before your liver is replaced by boot leather...

Why is anyone surprised? He's a member of the right wing wacko group Opus Dei, as is his father who is known for outrageous anti-Jewish statements.
