Nick Drake "Day is done" is one of the finest pieces of music ever made
I was both happy and annoyed when the Nick Drake resurgence began.
Happy that his music had eventually reached a larger audience, but annoyed because it had taken so long when so much that was mediocre and downright bad had sold enough to fill several vacant landfill sites over and again, and also because of course his music had been the secret pleasure of the cognoscenti .
Enjoying:

molly bloom, you have any Plasmatics ?
I did have, but the doctor gave me a cream for them, and they faded.
Wendy O was never really my lager can of gob.
I occasionally found people like Wayne County (' If You Don't Wanna F*ck Me, F*ck Off! ') mildly amusing, but my favourites tended to be the likes of Siouxsie, Magazine, Gang Of Four, Television, Patti Smith, the Pistols, X Ray Spex (but not the Clash, oddly...) and then the new wave/punk/electronica crossover, like Cabaret Voltaire, Devo, early Human League, Thomas Leer, P.I.L. , The Normal, Throbbing Gristle and so on.
Just enjoyed Grace Jones: She's Lost Control 12" version
next up- Robert Rental & Thomas Leer: The Bridge
