Gay Syria
As I've mentioned, I've been working at polish embassy... that's a square next to it, and the Sibki park on it. There are a couple gay meeting places in Damascus, but none as fameous as Sibki palace, under polish embassy.
If a Syrian guy smiles at You without a reason, winks at You, calms your hair or makes compliments - that does NOT mean he's gay.
However, if he wets his lips slowly while doing one of above, I think he is.
Officially, there are no gays in Syria. But there are quite a few I guess. I've been given some more or less open propositions and I really don't know why I haven't complied"I realise I hold the key to freedom,

the very centre of Damascus. The monument if Yusuf al-'Azmah, first ministry of defence of Syria, who died defending the country against french invasion.
The building in the background is ministry of finances. the road to it is very important. On the left, You can find tourist information and Saudi-french bank (one of), the best in Syria. On the right, there's Russian Cultural centre, russian airways, syrian Moulin Rouge, and the best coctails in Damascus, as well as a good bookshop"I realise I hold the key to freedom,
