Ok, I did some research for any reaction from Al Green and the only thing I managed to find so far is this: "I called Green’s D.C. office this morning. I'm not backing down a bit. Maybe Bush has some deep, dark fantasies, and he was tryin' to plant one on ol' Al, and the camera clicked a fraction of a second too early, but do we really want to go there?

I don't think Bush is racist. I think he's a ****ing dumb, country club set silver coke-spooner overgrown fratboy and general embarassment to his dear old dad, who, given his talents and the state of his progeny, clearly had some real low-grade sperm cells. As a kid, Dubya no doubt had "affectionate relationships" with his househould coloreds, and the caddies, cooks, groundskeepers, and stewards at the country club.

And no, who wants to own 'em anymore, what with havin' to feed and clothe and whip 'em into shape, and then havin' to keep feedin' em when they get all old and useless? It's so much easier to manage your coloreds when you can just hire and fire 'em as convenient.
