    I know, that's why I mentioned her. I probably should have phrased it more like "The only major star at the time of casting was Shannon Dougherty." Anyway, in Dogma you have Afleck after he's famous, Matt Damon, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Salma Hayeck, Alanis Morrisette making a cameo. Far more star power at time of release than Mallrats had.

        I've seen Mallrats (stupid) and Dogma (stupid, in over his head). That was enough. I'm told Clerks was actually funny though.

                  I like Mallrats. I still watch it on occasion even over the other movies.

                  Why?

                  Because it's mindless entertainment. Mallrats doesn't try to teach you anything or have a point.

                  I'll be seeing Clerks II tomorrow.

                    I know this to be true, and then when it comes out on dvd it will be bought to gather dust with all the rest of his movies, which by the way he owns all of

                      I just got back from the movie, it's pretty funny. Sort of suprisingly there were only about 15 people in the theater.
