    • Snotty, this is just an idea, how about doing Potsdam on the Friday? Your gf would love it, and I feel like I still owe you

Rich, I know it'd be the second time for you, but guess what, it'd be the 1000th time for me

          • Maybe I'll rearrange my return flight for a day earlier in that case

              • I'm just in the process of looking for a hotel room for me. Time-wise I can confirm that I'll attend to the meeting, hotel-wise we'll see.

While browsing hotels and reading room descriptions, I often stumbled over the feature "gay friendly". Now, not that I would be in need of that service, but I wonder what it is? What makes a hotel room gay friendly?

It's much like Bristol after a nuclear strike, with the crater filled with dung.

                  • Changed meeting time to 1200 so we have more time to get drunk. Anyone who'll join later can phone me up. Then umber is in some earlier post.

Do phone numbers get bot-spotted as do email-adresses?

                    • Heresson, if you want to survive the meeting, you should take into account two things:

                      1. Learn to drink much over a long time... quickly!

                      2. Ask yourself: does ANYone from the west give a flying sh!t about Slavic culture?

                      • A note to all concerning public transport:

There are day tickets for €6 and tickets for three days which come for €15 IIRC. These cover The city of Berlin and some area around it (ABC). It's possible to get the same tickets for BErlin only (AB) for just a few cents less (€5.60 for the day ticket IIRC). Those of you who fancy seeing Potsdam on the Friday are better off to get ABC tickets from the first point on.

Rich, we'll have to see if there's a week ticket or something for you.

                          • Ok, I booked in the Park Inn at Alexanderplatz. That's at least something familiar. As soon as they send the confirmation, I book the ICE tickets. There is one, which arrives 11:04 at Berlin Hbf (tief) ... whereever that is. That should qualify me for the changed meeting time.

Given PH's view on Bristol that sounds like landscape improvements and redecorating veneer.
