Anyone else notice (or maybe it was just here) a few days ago, we got gas for $2.79 a gallon, and we just got some more today, and it was $2.99. It was a different gas station but in the same area... Anyone know why the sudden price jump?

I wish gas was that cheap! We're well over $3/gallon. I'm glad I get ~30mpg!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Gas here is > $3/gallon
$2.79 may have been a price war or something? Also, are gas prices regulated in your area?
Finally, did they raise (or reinstate) gas taxes in your area?<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

If you're refering to the Israel stuff, would that really effect gas prices, and if so that much?
Gas prices are somewhat based on future supply and demand. There is an increase in the fear of another Arab-Isreali war, and therefore, prices jump because of fears of supply shocks.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
