Since 1999.
Poly is a bit of a social experiment. Back then it was full of real right-wing types and a lot of christians.
Now a lot of right-wingers have either left (usually under a cloud of humiliation) or actually moved towards the left as time and sense has prevailed (some notable converts!). Also the christians are less numerous and no longer openly flout their beliefs because they know they'll be ridiculed.
So all in all, it is a successful experiment in education and changing of attitudes by exposure to those that can lead them to the right path - even people with right-wing attitudes can be made to see the error of their ways over time...

Theben bugged me for a couple of years to check this place out, but I only came for the Civ II mods, back in the Ultimate Civ Site days. MOBIUS, your "I'm surrounded by idiots" makes me think of this joke I recently told in another thread...
A pair of Austrians are driving on a one way road when a car comes flying up the other way, horn screaming. He swerves and they narrowly miss each other. This happens again, then again and again. Over the radio comes the announcement "There is a Falschfahrer (wrong way driver) driving up the highway!" The Austrian, swerving to avoid yet another car says to his passenger, "no ****, there's alot of them!".Long time member @ Apolyton
