Downloading now, but I'll still probably rely on Opera.

The only thing Firefox has over Opera is the myriad extensions, and now with Widgets in Opera 9 even that might change.

          Extensions are nothing like Widgets...

Widgets are toys. And it makes no frickin' sense to embed them in a web browser. Opera's ridiculous feature bloat.

If you want widget, download Yahoo Widget Engine or Google Desktop or the MSN one.

Widgets aren't exactly extensions, are they?

But for the love of God, don't turn this thread into a pointless browser war.

I mainly use Opera, but thumbs up to both Opera and Firefox. I'll just wait till the 2.0 release for Firefox, though.

So how do I disable the obnoxious inline spell checking?

Depending on the board, that means turning it off every single time you want to make a post. It would be nice if you could turn it off for all text fields. Disable it, in other words.

                        Try going into about:config
                        Change extensions.spellcheck.inline.max-misspellings to 0

Spellcheck sucks. There are people here who could use it, though.
